Polar Skate Co was created by Pontus Alv with the mission to ‘inspire others to inspire themselves’. Polar produces high-quality skateboard clothing alongside Polar Skate Decks. Their popular clothing line includes the Polar Surf Pants, Big Boy jeans as well as a range of Polar Skate t-shirts, caps and Polar hoodies. Many items are designed by Pontus himself, with input from Jacob Ovgren, members of the Polar team and other collaborators.
Founded in Malmo in 2011, Polar is one of the most respected skateboard companies in the world represented by top riders including Oskar Rozenberg, Hjalte Halberg, Shin Sanbongi and Dane Brady. The brand has released full-length skate videos including I Like It Here Inside My Mind, Don’t Wake Me This Time and We Blew It At Some Point.
