April Skateboards x Ema Gasper Collection

April Skateboards has teamed up with visual artist Ema Gaspar for a new collection that blends her expressive pencil and graphite art with April Skateboards. The collection features several pro model decks and graphic tees, all showcasing Gaspar’s atmospheric style. Each piece feels like a snapshot from her vivid world where imagination and movement come together in a way that feels both nostalgic and new.

Ema Gaspar was born in Lisbon, Portugal and now living in Tokyo, Japan. Her work is known for its dreamlike atmosphere, using graphite and color pencil drawings that weave together memory, emotion, and fragments of imagery. She often starts with a single object or shape that catches her attention, building a personality and story around it. Over time, those stories turn into compositions that feel alive, like a memory that never quite settles. Her artistic language has caught the attention of galleries and brands alike, earning her international recognition and a growing influence in contemporary illustration.

For this collaboration, April brought Ema’s world into motion through their lineup of pro models decks and tees. The 8.5" Yuto Horigome deck, the Rayssa Leal 8.25 deck, and the Shane O’Neill’s 8.25" deck gives her detailed artwork space to breathe with layered shapes and textures.

The “Mushroom” tees, available in vintage black and white, feature Gaspar’s organic, surreal take on growth and transformation, with forms that seem to shift and multiply. The “Flower” tee, printed on vintage black, draws from her ongoing exploration of repetition and memory.

This collaboration feels like a perfect meeting point between art and skateboarding. Ema Gaspar’s world of color, shape, and emotion finds new life through April’s decks and apparel, bringing something imaginative and human to every piece.
