This week, Drift House is launching two new colorways of the New Balance Numeric 933. As the first signature shoe for Andrew Reynolds with New Balance Numeric, the 933 blends performance-focused design with nods to classic NB running silhouettes.
Andrew Reynolds is one of the most respected figures in skateboarding. Coming up in the 90s, he gained early recognition through video parts with Birdhouse before founding Baker Skateboards. Known for his signature frontside flips and refined style, he was named Thrasher Skater of the Year in 1998. His influence stretches beyond the board, shaping generations of skateboarders through both his riding and mentorship.
The Numeric 933 brings running-inspired comfort to the demands of modern skateboarding. It features a FuelCell midsole for responsive cushioning, ABZORB impact protection, and an N-Durance rubber outsole built to last. The upper combines suede, mesh, and synthetic materials with layered panels that reference the design language of the 99x series. The straight midsole and rounded toe box give the shoe a classic New Balance shape while providing support and board control. Personal details from Reynolds include outsole notches representing milestones in his life and prototype codes under the insole.
The Brown and Black colorway features a deep brown suede upper with black overlays and trim. The black tongue, laces, and branding deliver contrast while keeping the palette grounded and tonal. Giving a nod to The Boss' first Numeric 480 colorway back in 2023.
The Castlerock and Vintage Indigo colorway uses layered grey tones across the suede and mesh upper, accented with indigo hits on the tongue and collar lining. The result is a cooler, muted look that adds dimension without being loud.
Both colorways of the New Balance Numeric 933 launch on Friday, July 18 at 11 AM ET. They will be available in-store and online at Drift House.
