ASICS SportStyle has partnered with Japanese fashion label, emmi, to create a special colorway for the GEL‑KINETIC FLUENT, a silhouette that bridges tech-driven comfort with lifestyle-focused design. ASICS brings its performance heritage, while emmi contributes its signature minimalist aesthetic, blending color, style, tech, and material in a clean way.
Emmi is a Tokyo-based brand known for merging wellness, sports, and everyday style in a minimalist but aesthetic way. It emphasizes neutral tones, refined details, and pieces that adapt effortlessly into daily outfits. Their minimalistic, functional mindset aligns with ASICS’ “sound mind, sound body” philosophy.
The GEL-KINETIC FLUENT is based on ASICS running shoe designs from the 2010s. The upper features welded overlays and structural eyelets taken directly from that era, reworked with modern materials for added depth. A white mesh base is layered with varying ivory tones, subtle metallic accents, and vivid blue ASICS stripes. The color palette reflects emmi’s design ethos while giving the shoe a clean look.
The midsole uses FF BLAST PLUS cushioning and Scutoid GEL technology to soften impact and deliver all-day comfort.
