New Balance Numeric is pulling from the indoor soccer side of the brand with the 442, a skate-ready version of a classic football shape. The shoe carries the low-profile build, fold-over tongue, lace loops, and suede upper that give it the feel of an indoor court shoe, then shifts it into Numeric’s skate build.
The 442 “Heron Blue” pulls straight from indoor soccer with blue suede, white hits, a fold-over tongue, lace loops, and a low court shape. Slim upper, simple paneling, gum sole, and enough football DNA to make it stand apart from the rest of the Numeric wall.
We are releasing the shoe with the New Balance Numeric Team Jersey in Magic Blue. The jersey keeps the same soccer connection going with a fold collar, short sleeves, tonal Numeric graphic, lightweight poly knit, 100% recycled polyester build, and a relaxed fit. Shoe and jersey together make the release feel more like a small Numeric kit than a single pair dropping on its own.
