The Nike SB P-Rod 1 “All-Star” brings one of the most recognizable early Nike SB silhouettes back into focus through the lens of NBA All-Star Weekend. This release looks back at Paul Rodriguez’s first signature shoe while tying it to the timing and visual language of NBA All-Star Weekend.

The P-Rod 1 was Paul Rodriguez’s first signature model with Nike SB, released during the brand’s early years in skateboarding. At the time, the shoe stood out for blending performance features with a more athletic feel than traditional skate shoes. With Zoom Air cushioning and a low-profile build, it became a regular presence in skate shops and videos and helped establish a direction for Nike SB footwear moving forward.

The “All-Star” colorway takes cues from NBA All-Star Weekend, specifically the Western Conference, using a red suede upper with metallic gold accents that reflect classic All-Star palettes. Rather than changing the structure of the shoe, this version focuses on color and material choices to frame the P-Rod 1 in a broader sports context. The shoe keeps the original design intact, with the All-Star reference coming through in the color and materials.
