Bluetile Skateboards has been holding it down in South Carolina for 25 years. With shops in Columbia and Charleston, they have built a real community spot for skaters in the area. They support local riders, run events, and help keep the scene alive. This is their first Nike SB collab, and you can tell they put real heart into it.

The story of the shoe is inspired by the Monarch butterfly and its journey to find a new home. The Monarch represents resiliency. Bluetile wanted to highlight that, especially for Mexican immigrants building new lives. They made it personal by honoring their shop manager Irving, who came from Veracruz, Mexico, and has become a big part of their crew.
That story is baked into the shoe featuring a black base with rich Marina blue and Campfire orange accents taken straight from butterfly wings. You will see wing-inspired details, fuzzy laces like a butterfly’s body, and hexagonal patterns on the Swoosh that look like eyes. There are also sunset-inspired color hits that nod to the South Carolina skies Bluetile has called home for the past 25 years.
