Eric Koston has been shaping skateboarding since the 90s. His precision and consistency changed how people skated, and his eye for design pushed skate shoes forward. The latest project with Nike SB brings that same mindset to one of Nike’s most recognizable silhouettes, the Air Max 95.
The Nike SB x Eric Koston Air Max 95 Obsidian/Speed Yellow rebuilds the classic runner with a tougher edge. The upper mixes suede and mesh in Obsidian and Midnight Navy with Speed Yellow accents on the lace loops, Swoosh, and Air units. The materials are layered yet deliberate. Koston’s name appears on the tongue in the Air Max font, and Thai lettering near the toe connects to his background.
The apparel releasing with the shoe keeps the same tone. We’re getting all three colorways of the flannels, both sweaters (in Midnight Navy and Dark Heather Grey), the black denim pants, and the t-shirts (Midnight Navy and White) that tie into the collection’s palette and build. Flannels come in three distinct colors. Sweaters are simple crew styles. The pants are black with a straightforward silhouette. The tees carry the same navy and white base options linked to the shoe’s palette.

The Eric Koston x Nike SB Air Max 95 releases November 1. In-store first come, first served at 11AM. Online release at 2PM ET. Sizes 5M through 15M. MSRP $190. One pair per household. Below is the price breakdown for the apparel.
