Santa Cruz and Pokémon are back together for a second blind bag deck drop, this time built around the Pokémon Trading Card Game and the franchise’s 30th anniversary. The first Santa Cruz x Pokémon blind bag collection released in 2023 with 20 decks featuring individual Pokémon characters, including holo versions and extremely limited gold foil chase decks. For 2026, the idea moves directly into the TCG. There are 30 standard deck designs, one for each year of Pokémon, with original card artwork pulled from across three decades of the game.
The Chase Decks
Beyond the 30 standard decks, Santa Cruz made three glitter gold foil chase variants featuring collages of Pokémon TCG cards from different global releases. Only 500 of each gold foil design were produced worldwide, making them the most limited decks in the collection.
The limited decks are also a callback to the 2023 collaboration, where the hardest-to-find gold decks became a major part of the blind bag hunt after the collection sold through. This time there are more standard graphics to find, but the basic idea stays close to opening a booster pack: the deck inside stays unknown until the bag is opened.
Santa Cruz x Pokémon Apparel
The deck collection is joined by a Santa Cruz x Pokémon apparel drop releasing at Drift House on Saturday, October 17. The lineup includes four hoodies, two tees, and a hat, carrying the Pokémon artwork and 30th anniversary graphics into the apparel side of the release.
Raffle Information
The Santa Cruz x Pokémon TCG Blind Bag Decks release worldwide on Saturday, October 17, and we will be handling the decks through an in-store and online raffle.
The in-store raffle begins today and runs through Friday 10/16 at Drift House. Winners will be contacted by phone on Saturday. Come by and ask for a ticket! Open everyday from 11AM-8PM.
The online raffle opens Friday at 2PM ET. The link to the sign up form will be attached to the top of this blog at the time of the raffle. Entries will stay open for 10 minutes or until the entry threshold is reached, whichever happens first. Online winners will receive an invoice from info@drifthouse.com Friday after the raffle closes. Winning decks will ship the following Monday.
