adidas Skateboarding x Thrasher x AFA

We are stoked to announce that adidas Skateboarding lands at Drift House with a collection that pulls together three worlds: skateboarding, football, and the history behind Thrasher Magzine's origins. This capsule brings adidas Skateboarding together with Thrasher and the Argentine Football Association (AFA) ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.

Fausto Vitello, who help started the notorious skateboarding bible in San Francisco in 1981, was born in Bueno Aires, Argentina. Thrasher has spent more than four decades shaping the industry through videos, covers, contests, photos, and the people around it. Argentina brings its own weight into the project as the reigning World Cup champion and one of the most dominant countries in football.

The collection pulls from Argentina’s colors, AFA crest work, Thrasher branding, and adidas Skateboarding. Blue, black, white, and gold run through the pieces, along with football shapes, skate details, and Gonz artwork.

The jersey is the main piece from the drop. The blue and black diamond pattern pulls from Argentina’s 1994 World Cup kit, the last World Cup hosted in the United States. Thrasher runs across the front with AFA detailing and adidas branding worked into the shirt like a real football jersey. Out of the four pieces we are releasing, this one carries the clearest link between Argentina, Thrasher, adidas, and the World Cup coming back to North America.

The Glenburn takes the collaboration to footwear. One of adidas Skateboarding’s newer silhouettes, built with leather and suede and shaped with soccer influence. Thrasher branding sits around the heel, three stars on the heel tab nod to Argentina’s three World Cup wins, and the AFA mark lands on the tongue. The shoe has a dual-layer suede toe, a plimsoll-style outsole, and a build made for grip, board feel, and regular wear.

The hoodie leans into the football side of the collection. Black body, blue adidas stripes down the sleeves, AFA embroidery on the chest, and Argentina artwork on the front pocket. Thrasher branding hits the back.

The ringer tee brings in Mark Gonzales’ side of the story. White body, black collar, black sleeve cuffs, adidas striping, and Gonz artwork across the front. It is the quietest piece we are releasing, but the artwork gives it a direct connection to one of the most important names in skateboarding.

For us at Drift House, this release also introduces adidas Skateboarding and adidas Originals to the shop. The first drop brings in Thrasher history, Argentina history, Gonz artwork, adidas Skateboarding product, and a World Cup moment in one collection.
